Teachers of course hold a very special place in our hearts year-round. They’re the ones that go the extra mile for our kids when we cannot be there for them. They encourage and build confidence in skills we as parents maybe didn’t know they had! Let them know how special and appreciated they are in time for the holidays with these personal and unique gift ideas from local shops here in the metro.

Gift Custom

Sisters Erin Vestring and Emily Miller started “A Merry Day Shop” in the Summer of 2021. They actually began with Bachelorette Boxes for destination-style bachelorette parties, and started adding more products before school started that August. They are now mainly an Instagram focused business with the cutest products for anyone on your list!

“The personalized pouches are a customer favorite,” says Erin. “Many customers personalize these with initials, full names or labels for organizing their pouches in purses or diaper bags. At $12.00 they are a great price point for teacher gifts!”

Other popular items include personalized phone cases or iced coffee glasses – both make the best teacher gifts. Personalization is possible on the glasses with initials, school names or teacher names.

All products can be ordered by contacting @amerrydayshop through Instagram.

Gift Organized

Chirps & Cheers in Midtown is surely every teacher’s dream-store. From whitty cards and stationery to every single unique and colorful office supply you could dream of, make this teacher’s year by giving something cheerful (just like the name suggests!).

Blank note cards, foil-stamped with an initial, is a sweet and simple way to tell someone you care. A pack of cards with colorful envelopes can be found for under $20 and is the perfect gift for our note-writing teachers!

Other popular items include colorful calligraphy pens, clever and punny stickers, colorful decorative tape, and so much more!

Many products can be seen through their Instagram: @chirpsandcheers or by visiting their store in Midtown.

Gift Oklahoma

Tin Lizzie’s has quickly become a staple of Automobile Alley with their wide selection of gift items! There is literally something for everyone, plus a few things you didn’t know you needed on your list. Shop apparel, holiday decor, games, toys, hosting accessories and so much more.

Every OU or OSU-loving teacher needs an artistic mug to show off their team spirit! Tin Lizzie’s has such a great selection of Oklahoma collegiate gifts, but these mugs take the cake. Stroll down the sidewalk to Junction Coffee to pair the mug with a coffee gift card and voila! Your teacher gift search is done.

Other fun gift ideas you might find here are floral desktop calendars, beautiful gratitude journals, countdown to Christmas decor, stackable bracelets and so much more!

Happy shopping and happy holidays. Thanks for giving local!
