Barnes & Noble has a Barnes & Noble Educator Program, giving teachers 20 percent off the publishers list price on all purchases for classroom use and 25 percent off during Educator Appreciation Days. Every Saturday and Sunday in April, teachers receive 25% off books, toys, games, music, movies and more. Plus 10% off in the cafe and on select NOOK devices.
As part of their commitment to literacy, Half Price Books supports teachers and librarians in the community with an Educator’s Discount Card offering 10 percent off all year. Sign up each fall with a valid ID or proof of employment.
Hobby Lobby offers schools a discount. Teachers can get a 10 percent discount on entire purchases at Hobby Lobby if they pay with a school debit or credit card.
