Geekapalooza: A STEAM Festival for Kids!

Parking is free and admission is only $5/child pre-registered or $8 at the door for children ages 2 -17. Adults and babies under age 2 are FREE! With every pre-registered paid ticket, you get a FREE child’s pass to the Blue Zoo , a $16.95 value! (Pass will be given at check-in at Geekapalooza and expires on 12/31/24.)

Families at Geekapalooza will enjoy:

  • Hands-on activities like drones, 3-D printing, geode smashing and more!
  • Portable Planetarium
  • Learning about skulls with Skeletons Osteology Museum
  • Participate in the roller coaster challenge or snap circuits with OERB.
  • Hot air balloon from Visionary Balloonworx
  • A scavenger hunt contest with grand prizes
  • Food trucks and Face Painting- additional cost
  • Over 30 vendor booths each hosting kid-friendly STEAM fun!

*Please note – there are no refunds for Geekapalooza registration. The event will happen rain or shine.

Time: 10am-2pm

Location: Rose State College Jeanie Webb Student Union and outdoor lawn area located at 1910 Hudiburg Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110. (Please note, this event is NOT at the Rose State Performing Arts Center)

From I-40 EASTTake I-40 east to the Hudiburg  Drive exit (156B).  Turn north (left) onto Hudiburg Drive.  Follow Hudiburg Drive past Adair Boulevard. Turn west (left) into the large parking lot across from the student union.
Admission: Purchase your advance tickets at a discount of $5 and get a FREE child’s pass to the Blue Zoo , a $16.95 value! (Pass will be given at check-in at Geekapalooza and expires on 12/31/24.)
Adults and kids ages 23 months and younger are FREE, Children ages 24 months and over are $8 at the door. Please bring exact change if possible or be prepared to pay with a credit card. Children are required to have a wristband to participate in any Geekapalooza activities. For day-of tickets, purchase your wristbands at the front of the Rose State Student Union building at the orange MetroFamily Registration tent.
Parking: Parking is FREE and available in the large parking lot directly across the street from the student union.
