Features the opening reception of Breve historia del tiempo, a monumental outdoor sculpture from Guadalajara’s Gonzalo Lebrija. Breve historia del tiempo, which will stand in Campbell Art Park at the top of Automobile Alley, is a 1968 Chevrolet Malibu that appears to be suspended vertically over a pool of water. It’s presented as part of La casa que nos inventamos: Contemporary Art From Guadalajara, which opens at Oklahoma Contemporary on Sept. 23.
