10:00 AM until 05:00 PM
While it is not possible to hold Pumpkinville this year, organizers at the Gardens have put together an alternative. The level of creativity and artistic detailing that goes into the décor of Pumpkinville each year will be channeled into something new.
Visitors can enjoy brightly colored murals and mosaics including six large-scale, individual pumpkin mosaics around the Garden grounds. The Devon Lawn will be decorated and murals can also be found in the Children’s Garden and, on the Water Stage, there is a special pumpkin creation by local artist Nick Bayer.
Additionally, The Great Pumpkin Patch will be on the Devon Lawn featuring a variety of pumpkins available for purchase. There will also be music, a trick or treat event, pumpkin decorating, fall floral displays, scarecrows and other fun things to do outside at a safe social distance. New or renewing members will receive $20 worth of Pumpkin Bucks to spend in the pumpkin patch.
Kids can put on their favorite Halloween costume for Boo-tanical Night in the Gardens, Saturday, October 24 in the Children’s Garden. Children will have an opportunity to traverse the garden and stop at treat stations throughout the garden. There will also be a take and make craft available. This event is by pre-registration only and priority is given to garden members.
Daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Due to the expected forecast, the patch is closing at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 instead of 7 p.m. as was originally planned.
Masks required for attendees over age 10.
