Kate Khavari will visit Full Circle Bookstore to sign her novel, A Botanist’s Guide to Parties and Poisons. The first in what will become a series of mysteries, this book introduces readers to Saffron Everleigh, a newly minted research assistant at the University College London. When the wife of a professor drops dead at a dinner party and Saffron’s mentor comes under suspicion, it is up to the stalwart young woman to apply her knowledge of botany to identify the toxin and determine who administered it.
