Visitors ages 8-11 are invited to explore True Nature and become artists.

Young artists will explore the exhibition True Nature: Rodin and the Age of Impressionism and discuss how artists such as Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, and Auguste Renoir painted everyday subject matter using their signature bold brushstrokes associated with the Impressionist movement.

Back in the studio, students will apply what they have learned in the galleries to create Impressionist-style watercolor paintings. Each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind work of art as well as a sketchbook and watercolor set to continue their art exploration at home.
