Ditty Bops began with a simple idea: make space for veterans and artists to create together. More than 70 veterans and their families joined OKC artists in free workshops, using Morse code as a spark to explore personal messages through rhythm, text, movement, mask-making and visual art. The performance is the living result: a powerful, vulnerable, authentic and brave mosaic of life after service, created within a community learning to move beyond “thank you for your service." Veteran voices take center stage, shifting between isolation and intimacy, routine and rupture, humor and heartbreak … with SPARK!’s unique creative flair.

An ASL interpreter will be present at all performances.
