Description
Step back in time to watch a performance reading of three, animal-themed comedy skits from the Golden Age of Radio.
- Father Knows Best: Too Many Rabbits: the Anderson house is overrun with the neighbor’s rabbits.
- Tarzan: Hear an episode of the famous “ape man.”
- Archie Andrews: Going on a Picnic: Archie and Jughead (the Riverdale comic book characters) go on a picnic and encounter too much nature.
It’s a celebration of two animal-themed exhibits at the museum. Bison in Art: Edmond Artists Depict the “Buffalo” and Where They Went, A Photographic History of Oklahoma Animals.
Bonus: Musical interludes will be played on a historic 1892 Reed Organ, on temporary loan from the University of Central Oklahoma, Laboratory of History Museum.
