Oklahoma Ballet Theatre invites dancers from across Oklahoma to audition for its 2026 production of Oklahoma’s Traditional Nutcracker.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 22 and Saturday, August 29. Dancers may choose either audition date.

Audition schedule:

Ages 4 through 8
1:30 to 2:55 PM

Ages 9 through 13
2:00 to 3:55 PM

Ages 14 and older
3:00 to 3:55 PM

Dancers ages 4 and older from all studios and communities are welcome. Participants should arrive on time and be prepared to begin promptly. Audition numbers and required measurements will be provided by Oklahoma Ballet Theatre staff upon arrival.

Dancers ages 18 and older should bring a headshot and dance résumé.

Advance registration is required. The standard registration fee is $65 and reserves the dancer’s place in the audition and casting process. Additional participation and role fees apply after casting.
