10:00 AM until 02:00 PM

Description

Features family-friendly activities inspired by the Museum’s exhibition Spiro and the Art of the Mississippian World. Spiro Mounds afforded researchers a treasure trove of Mississippian material culture. It was full of pottery, woven textiles, incised shells, beaded clothing and many more examples of Native art and craftsmanship. During Spring Break, try your hand at similar crafts. Drop by and participate in family-friendly activities and create a different make-and-take craft each day.

  • March 17 - Twining
  • March 18 - Scratch Art Gorgets
