Description
The Oklahoma Czech Festival celebrates the Czech culture through food, music, dancing, traditional dress and imported goods. The festival officially kicks off with one of the state’s largest parades down Main Street in Yukon. Following the parade, the festival offers a variety of family entertainment throughout the day including polka music, dancing, carnival rides, a petting zoo and a craft show with more than 150 booths. Festival goers can snack on kolache pastries, klobasy sandwiches and a selection of Czech breads. The celebration concludes with the Oklahoma Czech Royalty Coronation Ball at Czech Hall. Everyone is welcome to dance the night away to the music of the Masopust and Bohemian Knights bands.
The carnival kicks off Friday and continues all day Saturday. The parade begins at 10 a.m.
