Community Easter egg hunts & activities in the metro

Springtime is here and with the season comes cheerful Easter celebrations! The bunny is hopping into Oklahoma City and metro organizations are inviting families to celebrate with festive Easter egg hunts, family fun events and more. Here is a roundup of Easter happenings around the OKC metro.

April 2

Doggy Easter Egg Hunt at Mustang Dog Park (530 SW 59th St, Mustang) features an Easter egg hunt for dogs and photos with the Easter bunny. Free to attend; donations welcome. 11 a.m.

April 9

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Rose State Student Union (1910 Hudiburg Dr, Midwest City) features two Easter egg hunts, the Easter bunny, crafts and games. Donuts, juice, and coffee will be served. Free to attend. 9-11 a.m.

FREE  Moore Easter Egg Scramble at Buck Thomas Park football fields (1903 NE 12th St, Moore) features age-divided egg hunts including an area for children with special needs with prize eggs and candy. Rainout at Moore Community Center (301 S. Howard). Best suited for 12 & under. 10-11 a.m.

FREE Eggstravaganza at Wildhorse Park (1201 N Mustang Rd, Mustang) features an egg hunt, inflatables, balloon animals, an appearance by the Easter bunny and more. 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Curiousiday: Jurassic Eggs at Sam Noble Museum (2401 Chautauqua Ave, Norman) features crafts, activities and discovery tables, plus eggs will be hidden around the museum for children to find. Free with admission. 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

April 15

FREE Norman Community Egg Hunt at Andrews Park (201 Daws St, Norman) features an egg hunt and fun activities. The hunts will be age-divided. All ages welcome. 5:30-7 p.m.

April 16

Easter Scavenger Hunt & Eggstravaganza at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features a unique twist on an Easter egg hunt. Spot all the items on a scavenger hunt in the Children’s Garden and claim your Easter goodie bag! Take a photo with the Easter Bunny, have your face painted, get a balloon animal, ride Mo’s Carousel (free for members), and more. Preregister. Members, $8; nonmembers, $12. 9 a.m.-noon.

Painting Egg Gourds at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave). Learn all about these fun little tricksters and see if we can’t trick the Easter bunny with painted “eggs” that can last year after year. All ages welcome. Member, $8; nonmember,$12. 10-11 a.m.

FREE The Great Egg Hunt with Discovery Church at Yukon High School (1777 S Yukon Pkwy, Yukon) features an Easter egg hunt, giveaways, face painting, inflatables and more. Egg hunting areas will be divided by age as well as an area for kids with special needs. 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt hosted by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church at their Edmond Campus (900 N Sooner Rd, Edmond) and Scissortail Park (415 N Robinson Ave) features age-divided Easter egg hunts, inflatables and more. Edmond Campus, 10 a.m.; Scissortail Park, 2 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at the Arcadia Farmer’s Market (HWY 66 & Division St, Arcadia) features an age-divided Easter egg hunt, games, prizes and more. or kids in 5th grade & under. 10:30 a.m.

FREE Egg-Stravaganza at Stockyards City (S Agnew & Exchange Ave) features a not-so-hidden Easter egg hunt and pictures with the Easter bunny. 11 a.m.

FREE Easter on the Prairie at Mollie Spencer Farm (1001 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon) features an Easter egg hunt with Easter bunnies, a petting zoo, Highland dancers, face painting, train rides, gunfighters, blacksmiths and more. Best suited for ages 12 & under. 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; egg hunts, 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.

Easter Train & Egg Hunt at the Oklahoma Railway Museum (3400 NE Grand Blvd) features a historic train ride to an Easter egg hunt, mini golf, a museum scavenger hunt and more. Advanced purchase recommended. 13 & up, $12; kids (3-12), $5; kids (under 3), free. Trains depart at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. & 3:15 p.m.

FREE Community Easter Egg Hunt at Chisholm Creek Baptist Church (17600 N Western Ave, Edmond) features an Easter egg hunt, prizes, inflatables, food, crafts and more. 10 a.m.

FREE Council Road Baptist Church’s Easter Family Fun Day at The CUBE at Council Road (7903 NW 30th St, Bethany) features age-divided Easter egg hunts plus a sensory-friendly, adaptive hunt as well as crafts, games, a petting zoo, snow cones and more. Activities are best suited for families with kids in 5th grade & under. 10 a.m. – noon.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (10600 N Council Rd) features an egg hunt and Easter carnival with the Easter Bunny, face painters, balloon artists, petting zoo, pony rides and more. All ages welcome. 10 a.m.-noon.

FREE Choctaw Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Choctaw Creek Park (2001 N Harper Rd, Choctaw) features an age-divided egg hunt for kids 12 & under with 15,000 candy-filled eggs, an Easter Bonnet contest, pictures with the Easter bunny, train rides, inflatables, face painting and food trucks. 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

FREE Egg-citing Spring Festival at Northwest OKC Church of Christ (4301 NW 23rd St) features a pop-up festival with shopping, food trucks, Easter photos, an Easter egg hunt and more. noon-4 p.m.

Easter Paws at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features a tail-wagging good time as dogs hunt for treats and sit for a photo session with the Easter Bunny. Preregister. Member, $5 per dog; nonmember,$10 per dog. 1-2 p.m.

FREE Community Egg Hunt at Hope Connection Church (8309 S Santa Fe Ave) features an Easter egg hunt, food trucks, sno cones and more. Best suited for 12 & under. 2-3 p.m.

We Unite Easter Egg Hunt at Wheeler Park (1120 S Western Ave) features a giant Easter egg hunt, pictures with the Easter bunny, games, crafts, rides, a live DJ and more. Free to attend. 2-5 p.m.
