Community Easter egg hunts & activities in the metro

Springtime is here and with the season comes cheerful Easter celebrations! The bunny is hopping into Oklahoma City and metro organizations are inviting families to celebrate with festive Easter egg hunts, family fun events and more. Here is a roundup of Easter happenings around the OKC metro.

March 22

FREE Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at City Park Football Field (2200 S Holly Ave, Yukon) features a nighttime egg hunt for ages 10 & under. Preregister, space is limited. 7-8:30 p.m.

March 23

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Rose State Student Union (1910 Hudiburg Dr, Midwest City) features three age-divided Easter egg hunts, photo with the Easter bunny, crafts and games. Donuts, juice, and coffee will be served. Hosted by the Junior Service League of Midwest City. Free to attend. 9-11 a.m.

FREE  Moore Easter Egg Scramble at Buck Thomas Park football fields (1903 NE 12th St, Moore) features age-divided egg hunts including an area for children with special needs with prize eggs and candy. Rainout at Moore Community Center (301 S. Howard). Best suited for 12 & under. 10-11 a.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Bethany Children’s Health Center (6800 Northwest 39th Exwy, Bethany) features a fun, accessible Easter egg hunt for children with special needs or disabilities and their siblings on the adaptive baseball field. Preregister. 10 a.m.-noon.

FREE Choctaw Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Choctaw Creek Park (2001 N Harper Rd, Choctaw) features an age-divided egg hunt for kids 12 & under, plus other fun activities. 10 a.m.-noon.

A Fairy Hoppy Easter presented by Character Connection Co. at The Reverie Event Venue (9705 N May Ave) features the whimsical world of Pixie Hollow where they will learn how to become a fairy themselves through songs, dances, fairy lessons, crafts and more. Kids, $30; adults, $20. 10 a.m.

FREE Helicopter Easter Egg Drop at Cobblestone Creek Golf Course (1350 Cobblestone Creek Dr, Norman) features an egg drop, face painters, balloon twisters, a DJ, pictures with the Easter Bunny, food trucks and bounce houses. The drop will begin at 11:45 a.m.⁣ 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

FREE Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt at Sellers Recreation Center (8301 S Villa) features an Easter egg hunt for people with physical or developmental disabilities. 1-4 p.m.

FREE Newcastle Easter Egg Hunt at Veterans Park (1135 Veterans Pkwy, Newcastle) features an age-divided Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, inflatables, photos with the Easter bunny and more. 2-5 p.m.

March 23 & 30

Easter Eggstravaganza at Orr Family Farm (14400 S Western Ave) features Easter egg hunts, photos with the Easter bunny as well as the farm’s regular attractions. $19.95 & up. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

March 29

FREE Norman Community Spring Egg Hunt at Andrews Park (201 Daws St, Norman) features an egg hunt, photos with the Spring bunny, yard games, music, snow cones and more. All ages and abilities welcome. 5:30-7 p.m.; egg hunt, 6:30 p.m.

Storyteller Theatre Arts Co. presents Fairytale Farms at Harn Homestead (1721 N Lincoln Blvd) features a living storybook with an Easter egg hunt to follow. $15; kids (3 & under), free. 7 p.m.

March 30

FREE Easter Egg Hunt hosted by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church at their Edmond Campus (900 N Sooner Rd, Edmond) features age-divided Easter egg hunts, inflatables and more. Edmond Campus, 9 & 11 a.m.

Easter on the Green at Will Rogers Park (3400 NW 36th St) features Easter egg hunts, pictures with the Easter bunny and crafts. Preregister. $2. 9 a.m.-noon.

FREE Easter Farmer’s Market and Egg Hunt at the Arcadia Farmer’s Market (HWY 66 & Division St, Arcadia) features an age-divided Easter egg hunt and more. 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Easter Bunny Express at the Oklahoma Railway Museum (3400 NE Grand Blvd) features a train ride to an Easter egg hunt. Attendees can also enjoy a moon bounce, scavenger hunt and mini golf, plus explore the museum grounds. Advanced purchase recommended. 13 & up, $15; kids (3-12), $8; kids (under 3), free. Trains depart at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. & 3:15 p.m.

FREE Easter Eggstravaganza at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (308 NW 164th St) features music, crafts, games and an Easter egg hunt. Egg hunts for children 1 years old – 5th grade. 10 a.m.

FREE Eggstravaganza at Wildhorse Park (1201 N Mustang Rd, Mustang) features an egg hunt, inflatables, games, an appearance by the Easter bunny and more. 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

FREE FBC Bethany Egg Fest at Eldon Lyon Park (7400 NW 36th St, Bethany) features egg hunts, inflatables, food trucks and more. Best suited for kids in 5th grade & under. 10 a.m.-noon.

FREE Council Road Baptist Church’s Easter Family Fun Day at The CUBE at Council Road (7903 NW 30th St, Bethany) features age-divided Easter egg hunts plus a sensory-friendly, adaptive hunt as well as crafts, games, a petting zoo, snow cones and more. Activities are best suited for families with kids in 5th grade & under. Preregister. 10 a.m. – noon.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (10600 N Council Rd) features an egg hunt and Easter carnival with the Easter Bunny and more. All ages welcome. 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

FREE Easter on the Prairie at Mollie Spencer Farm (1001 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon) features two Easter egg hunts, pictures with Easter bunnies, a live chick hatchery, a lamb petting zoo, first responder vehicles, dance performances, face painting, train rides, gunfighters, blacksmiths and more. Best suited for ages 12 & under. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; egg hunts, 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.

FREE Easter in the Park with Del City Church of Christ (1901 Vickie Dr, Del City) features an Easter egg hunt, games and food. 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

FREE The Great Egg Hunt with Discovery Church at Yukon High School (1777 S Yukon Pkwy, Yukon) features an Easter egg hunt, costumed characters, face painting, inflatables and more. Egg hunting areas will be divided by age as well as an area for kids with special needs. 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

FREE Community Easter Egg Hunt at Chisholm Creek Baptist Church (17600 N Western Ave, Edmond) features an Easter egg hunt, prizes, inflatables, crafts and more. 10 a.m.

Holi Festival of Colors & Easter egg hunt at Mitch Park (1501 W Covell Rd, Edmond) features a joyous celebration of the coming of spring and the largest Holi annual celebration in Oklahoma with color throws, crafts, Bollywood music, live entertainment, food vendors & food trucks. 2-5 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at KickingBird Golf Course (1600 E Danforth, Edmond) features an Easter egg hunt on the golf course. Preregister, space is limited. 4-6 p.m.

March 31

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at New Covenant Christian Church (12000 N Rockwell Ave) features juice, donuts and a Bible story followed by age-divided Easter egg hunts. 9:30 a.m.

FREE Easter Celebration at Destiny Christian Center (3801 SE 29th St) features a sunrise service at 7 a.m. outside in the front parking lot and Easter services at 10:30 a.m. for adults and children of all ages. Following the service, there will be an Easter egg hunt for kids outside (weather permitting).

April 13

Curiousiday: Springtime Splendor at Sam Noble Museum (2401 Chautauqua Ave, Norman) features a joyful celebration of blooms and beyond. Explore the natural and cultural importance of flowers, create flower-themed crafts, and join in on an egg-citing Easter egg hunt. Free with admission. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
