Community Easter egg hunts & activities in the metro

Springtime is here and with the season comes cheerful Easter celebrations! The bunny is hopping into Oklahoma City and metro organizations are inviting families to celebrate with festive Easter egg hunts, family fun events and more. Here is a roundup of Easter happenings around the OKC metro.

Mar. 20

Easter Bunny Bash at L’Atelier (1801 S Morgan Rd) features Elsa, Anna & the Easter Bunny as they share a song, story and Easter craft. Tickets are limited to only 30 children per session. $40 for one adult & one child. 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. & 1:30 p.m.

Mar. 27

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Rose State Student Union parking lot (1910 Hudiburg Dr, Midwest City) features a drive-through Easter egg pickup. There will also be an opportunity to park and take a picture with the Easter Bunny ($2 per person) and a complimentary breakfast to go. 0-3 yrs old, 9:30 a.m.; 4 & up, 10:15 a.m.

Apr. 2

FREE Norman Community Egg Hunt at Reaves Park (2501 S Jenkins Ave, Norman) features a socially-distanced Easter photo booth and age-divided hunts for ages 8 & under. The first 500 participants get a free Easter gift from Broyles Real Estate Group. Parents can also choose to get candy through a drive-through and do a hunt at home. 4 & under, 6 p.m.; 5-8, 6:30 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt for Grownups at Scissortail Park (415 S Robinson Ave) features an Easter egg hunt for adults 21 & older, food trucks, music, prizes and adult beverages. Be sure to bring flashlights or headlamps to help with hunting eggs. Proceeds benefit the Scissortail Park Foundation.$15-$25. 7-9:30 p.m. *This event is sold out. 

Apr. 3

FREE Pictures with the Easter Bunny at the Norman Farm Market (615 E Robinson St, Norman). Kids can get pictures with the Easter bunny and look for prize eggs around the market. 8 a.m. – noon.

Easter Scavenger Hunt & Eggstravaganza at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features a unique twist on an Easter egg hunt. Spot items on the scavenger hunt as you explore the Children’s Garden. Locate all of the riddles and claim your Easter goodie bag, get a picture with the Easter Bunny or a spring-themed glitter tattoo from Kaleidoscope Arts. Preregister, a limited number of spots are available.Members, $6; nonmembers, $10.. 9-11 a.m.

Easter Egg Hunt at Epic Paintball Park (9420 W I-40 Service Rd) features an Easter egg hunt, prizes, candy, and a challenge for grownups. Benefits local search and rescue. All ages welcome. Free to attend. 9 a.m. – noon.

Easter Train & Egg Hunt at the Oklahoma Railway Museum (3400 NE Grand Blvd) features a historic train ride to an Easter egg hunt, mini golf, a museum scavenger hunt and more. 13 & up, $12; kids (3-12), $5; kids (under 3), free. Trains depart at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. & 3:15 p.m.

FREE  Moore Easter Egg Scramble at Buck Thomas Park football fields (1903 NE 12th St, Moore) features age-divided egg hunts including an area for children with special needs with prize eggs and candy. Rainout at Moore Community Center (301 S. Howard). Best suited for 12 & under. 10-11 a.m.

FREE Community Easter Egg Hunt at Chisholm Creek Baptist Church (17600 N Western Ave, Edmond) features an Easter egg hunt, prizes, inflatables, food, crafts and more. 10 a.m.

FREE Council Road Baptist Church’s Easter Family Fun Day at The CUBE at Council Road (7903 NW 30th St, Bethany) features age-divided Easter egg hunts plus a sensory-friendly, adaptive hunt as well as crafts, games, snow cones and a family photo booth. Activities are best suited for kids in 5th grade & under. 10 a.m. – noon.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at the Arcadia Farmer’s Market (HWY 66 & Division St, Arcadia) features an age-divided Easter egg hunt, games, prizes and more. or kids in 5th grade & under. 10 a.m. – noon

FREE Eggs-plore Easter Activities at Chisholm Creek (13230 Pawnee Dr) features photos with the Easter bunny. Kids will also be able to “hunt” eggs at The Pointe via a photo scavenger hunt and get a treat bag. 10 a.m. – noon.

FREE Choctaw Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Choctaw Creek Park (2001 N Harper Rd, Choctaw) features an age-divided egg hunt for kids 12 & under with 15,000 candy-filled eggs, an Easter Bonnet contest, pictures with the Easter bunny, train rides, inflatables, face painting and food trucks. 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Easter Paws at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features a photo session with the Easter bunny at the dog park, an appearance by the GEICO gecko and music from DJ Danny Eagle and DJ Brian Smith from muttradio.com. Preregister; space is limited. Member, $5 per dog; nonmember,$10 per dog. 1-3 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church (4500 SE 31st St, Del City) features an Easter egg hunt, pictures with the Easter bunny, candy, games, prizes and more. 1 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Crown Heights Nazarene Church (920 NW 46th St) features a storytime, crafts, snacks and an Easter egg hunt with prizes. 1:30-3:30 p.m.

FREE Community Egg Hunt at Hope Connection Church (8309 S Santa Fe Ave) features an Easter egg hunt and snacks. All ages welcome. 2-3 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Drive Thru at Crossroads Church (8901 S Shields Blvd) features a socially distanced, drive-through Easter egg giveaway. 3-5 p.m.
