As families prepare for the holidays, Pioneer Library System (PLS) offers resources to help make the season memorable. Create personalized gifts in our Maker Labs, explore hobby and craft resources at your local branch, or dive into creative projects at home with Hoopla’s Craft & STEAM BingePasses. With just one checkout, families can access more than a week’s worth of digital content, including video courses, magazines, documentaries, and hands-on learning activities.
Looking for ways to keep kids engaged during school breaks? PLS offers a variety of programs designed to spark curiosity and encourage learning. School-age children can explore science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through programs such as Build It, Coding for Kids, and STEAM Kids. These activities help develop creativity, problem-solving skills and critical thinking while making learning fun.
Teens and adults can continue their own learning journeys through programs such as Creativity Unleashed and Connection Corner, which provide welcoming spaces to connect with others, learn new skills, and explore personal interests.
At Pioneer Library System, we believe learning happens at every age. Through inclusive STEAM education opportunities, we help equip individuals and families with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning, PLS is investing in a stronger future for our communities. Learn more at pioneerlibrarysystem.org.
