The City of Oklahoma City offers FREE fishing on the first Saturday of each month. No city permit is required, however a State license is for anyone 16 and older. Regular fishing regulations apply. Visit okc.gov for additional information.

Choose any day during the month of April, gather a team and head to a nearby park or green space to collect litter. OKC Beautiful will provide trash bags and gloves for the cleanup. Preregister your team.

Grab your gloves and sunscreen and head out to Arcadia Lake for the annual Lake Sweep event. Volunteers are needed to help sweep the lake’s shorelines and parks of unsightly litter and debris to create a more enjoyable environment for lake visitors. Participants will receive a hot dog lunch and t-shirt while supplies last. Trash bags and clean-up assignments are given at the registration table.
