As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Lead Generation/Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial to driving new business opportunities and expanding our market presence.
Role Overview: The Lead Generation/Business Development Specialist will play a critical role in identifying potential clients, initiating contact and nurturing leads through the sales funnel. You will focus on building strong client relationships, developing new business partnerships and contributing to the company’s overall revenue goals.
Location: Remote but local to Oklahoma City metro area
Type: Part-time with the potential to become full-time
Reports to: Operations Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas and trends.
- Prospecting: Generate leads by leveraging online tools, social media platforms, networking events and industry research.
- Outbound Sales: Initiate contact with potential clients via email, cold calls and in-person meetings to secure an initial meeting between the prospect, one of our Media Strategists and yourself.
- Accountability: Be accountable to the activities and goals agreed upon for success.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or business development, preferably in the media, advertising, or digital marketing industries.
- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to finding quality prospects.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Experience in selling media solutions, advertising packages, or content partnerships.
- Strong network within the OKC area business and nonprofit community.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and content distribution strategies.
