We are rolling into the weekend before Halloween, ready to go! And, if your kids are anything like mine, they want to wear their costumes everyday between now and the 31st. So, we’re definitely looking for ways to celebrate Halloween all weekend long.

Whether you have big kids or little kids, there’s fun across the OKC metro for all ages.

Here are four ways to celebrate Halloween this weekend!

  1. Through Oct. 30, Storybook Forest at Arcadia Lake (7200 15th St, Edmond) features a fun, not-scary trail filled with roaming characters. Additional activities include storytime, concessions and a campfire. $15 per child; $5 per adult. 5:30-8:30 p.m.
  2. Oct. 25-27, ScaryTale Park at Scissortail Park (655 S Robinson Ave) features candy stops with popular characters and scenes, crafts, photo ops, entertainment and more. Kids (3 & up), $10 per child; adults, $3; members, free. Friday, 4-6 p.m. for families with special needs, 6-9 p.m. general admission; Saturday & Sunday, 4-9 p.m.
  3. Oct. 26, Halloween on the Green at Will Rogers Gardens (3400 NW 36th St) features themed crafts and a trick-or-treat trail with fairy tale characters. $5. 9 a.m.-noon.
  4. Oct. 28, FREE Brick or Treat in Bricktown (Reno Ave & Mickey Mantle Dr) features trick or treating at Bricktown businesses, popular characters and local mascots, spooky tunes and more. Best suited for ages 14 & under. 4-7 p.m.

If staying at home is more your family’s speed, we’ve got you covered there too.

  1. Some sweet and creative at-home ideas to celebrate this most candy-centric of holidays. You can go all out with a candy scavenger hunt or laidback with spooky stories and s’mores around a fire.
  2. Plan a family movie night and check out one of these must-watch, family-friendly Halloween movies.

Here’s hoping that your family has a sweet weekend that is full of ways to celebrate Halloween.
