8 ways to celebrate Halloween across the OKC Metro

We are rolling into the weekend before Halloween ready to go! And, if your kids are anything like mine, they want to wear their costumes every day between now and the 31st. So, we’re definitely looking for ways to celebrate Halloween all weekend long.

Whether you have big kids or little kids, there’s fun across the OKC metro for all ages!

Ways to celebrate Halloween!

  1. Through Oct. 30, Storybook Forest at Arcadia Lake (7200 15th St, Edmond) features a fun, not-scary trail filled with roaming characters. Additional activities include storytime, concessions and a campfire. $15 per child; $5 per adult. 5:30-8:30 p.m.
  2. Oct. 24, FREE Downtown Norman FallFest (E Main St, Norman) features trick-or-treating, art activities, live performances and inflatables. 6-9 p.m.
  3. Oct. 25, Halloween on the Green at Will Rogers Gardens (3400 NW 36th St) features themed crafts and a trick-or-treat trail with fairy tale characters. $5. 9 a.m.-noon.
  4. Oct. 25 & 26, Haunt the Zoo at OKC Zoo (2000 Remington Pl) features an array of family-friendly decorations, elaborate props for photo ops and candy stations. Zoo admission plus trick or treat bags: $10; members, $9. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  5. Oct. 25, FREE Trick-or-Treat Event at DICK’S House of Sport (13145 N Penn Ave) features candy stations and giveaways from local businesses and community partners stationed throughout the store and on the field. 1-4 p.m.
  6. Oct. 25, FREE Halloween Spooktacular at Altitude 1291 (6235 SE 15th St, Midwest City) features bounce houses, rides, trick-or-treat stations, Touch-a-Truck, photo ops, live performances and Haunted Laser Tag. 3-6 p.m.
  7. FREE Mustang Spooktacular at Wild Horse Park (1201 N Mustang Rd, Mustang) features carnival games, food trucks, a haunted house, inflatables, train rides, life-size Monopoly and candy. 5:30-8 p.m.
  8. Oct. 26, FREE Brick or Treat in Bricktown (Reno Ave & Mickey Mantle Dr) features trick or treating at Bricktown businesses, popular characters and local mascots, spooky tunes and more. Best suited for ages 14 & under. 1-4 p.m.
