Summer Craft: Shiny Fish

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Our favorite kind of craft is one that allows kids to be supremely creative with things that are easily found around the house. This craft is a great use for leftover cereal boxes and provides an opportunity for kids to create any shape they can imagine. Watch them create an entire ocean of shimmering animals!

Supplies:

  • Aluminum foil
  • Cereal box or card stock
  • Markers
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • String

Directions:

  • Use cereal box or card stock and cut out a fish shape.
  • Cover fish with aluminum foil with shiny side out. Tape the foil down.
  • Use markers to decorate the fish.
  • Make another fish and tape them together so that both sides of the fish are decorated.
  • Hang it up using string.
