This is a simple project that allows kids to be creative and learn at the same time. Older kids can create mazes on their own and younger ones just need a little assistance from older siblings or parents. It's a great use of leftover paper rolls and the endless ways to construct the maze make for hours of fun.
Supplies:
- Toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls
- Scissors
- Painter’s tape
- Marbles
Directions:
- Use a wall in the house and make a maze using the rolls and painter’s tape.
- Line the rolls up so that the marble will flow through to the next roll and so on.
- When finished with the maze, start at the top and drop the marble into the first tube and watch the marble fall.
