Summer Craft: Clothespin Magnets

Your kids will be making a lot of crafts and doodles this summer. You'll need a place to display all their goodies. Make these clothespin magnets to match any style or interest and you have an instant way to hang up photos and paintings. Make extras to give to friends and family!

Supplies:

  • Scrapbook paper with designs
  • Colored paper
  • Clothespins
  • Magnet strip
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Embellishments like stickers, glitter, markers, buttons

Directions:

  • Take the clothespin and trace around it on the printed paper.
  • Cut it out and glue it to the clothespin to cover one side of it. 
  • Use the colored paper to make hearts, sun, butterfly, birds, anything fun. 
  • Take your design and glue it to the bottom of the clothespin. 
  • Turn the clothespin over and add magnet. 
  • Give away as a gift or keep for yourself.
