Arise Ministries will host their 13th annual conference for single moms, Survive ‘N’ Thrive Unplugged, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 24 at Crossings Community Church (14600 Portland Ave.).
The one-day conference will feature a dozen speakers to encourage single moms to disconnect and recharge. The event features panel discussions, group worship, interactive activities and door prizes.
“The 2017 Survive ‘N’ Thrive Unplugged will be a totally unique and impactful experience,” said Shelley Pulliam, executive director of Arise Ministries. “Whether you’re divorced, never-married, widowed, a single mom or a single grandparent raising grandchildren, this powerful experience will help you unlock your potential, unplug from the chaos of the world and uncover new friends.”
Survive ‘N’ Thrive Unplugged speakers will include Pam Kanaly, Shelley Pulliam, Kim Heinecke, Cindy Beall, Ilinda Jackson, Robin Marsh, Robin Meadows, Jeremy Morgan, Kendra Rock, Amy Urbach, Sonya Walker and Ronda A. White. Speaker sessions will explore a variety of topics such as ‘Living Victoriously,’ ‘Balancing Work and Home,’ ‘Praying Scriptures for your Children,’ ‘Success over Stress’ and more. Event worship will be led by Charlie Hall.
