The Northwest Chamber Community Scholarship Application is now available for high school seniors attending school in the Northwest Metro trade area, including Putnam City, Bethany and Deer Creek School Districts. Any high school student attending post-secondary school for the first time may complete an application for consideration. Application deadline is Friday, March 16, 2012.
Each year, the Northwest Chamber awards scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each to students graduating from high school in the Northwest Chamber trade area. Scholarship recipients will also receive recognition at the April 2012 “Excellence in Education” Chamber Luncheon. Recipients will be selected though an application process based on business ambitions, leadership displayed, community involvement, academic record and character. The scholarship is awarded to a student attending post-secondary school for the first time and will be paid directly to the post-secondary school.
