Pet Food Drive for Pet Food Pantry of OKC

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Join K-9 University and MetroFamily Magazine as we collect dog and cat food to be donated to the organization Pet Food Pantry of OKC. This organization works to feed animals belonging to the elderly, homeless and veterans in Oklahoma City.

Through the month of November, you and your kids can bring pet food to one of two locations:

K-9 University at 9217 NW Expressway or MetroFamily Magazine at 318 NW 13th Street (located within the office of Steve Meadors & Associates). Your donation will be doubled by K-9 University, up to 500 pounds.

This project is named “Roxy Pays It Forward” after an amazing rescue dog with a touching story. Roxy was recently given the “Hero” award by the Central Oklahoma Humane Society. Check out Roxy's inspiring story here in this video.

MetroFamily’s November issue has the theme “Giving Back” which is perfect for this project. Join us in giving back and helping pets in our community by donating pet food today.

Also, be sure to enter the contest sponsored by K-9 University that provides you with a bundle of services and products, valued over $300. Deadline is Nov. 30. Enter here.
