The midterm election is quickly approaching on Nov. 8!

On the OK Voter Portal website, you can verify your voter registration status, find the address for your polling place (which may have changed this year) and request a party affiliation change. Due to redistricting last year, your polling place may have changed.

The last day to register to vote is Friday, Oct. 14. You can also request an absentee ballot up until Monday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m.

Be sure to register and check out the 2022 Oklahoma Voter Guide to prepare yourself before the election. The Metropolitan Library System offers online voter education resources including resources for first-time voters, early voting and more.

Thanks to new legislation enacted in 2021, voters have an extra day of early voting. Voters can now cast their in-person absentee ballot at their early voting location Wednesday, Nov. 2 through Friday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Voters should be prepared to show proof of identity when they check in with election workers.

Early voting locations/dates/times are available on the State Election Board website.

Sample ballots are available through the OK Voter Portal.
