Time together outside has so many benefits for kids and adults alike and the Oklahoma City metro has plenty of parks for families to enjoy. Here is your guide to popular metro parks in cities across the OKC metro and a few hidden gems you might not have explored before.


Edmond Area

  • Features: walking paths, splash pad, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, soccer field, running track, lighting and renovated flower beds around historic fountain.

Perle Mesta Park –  1900 NW 25th St, Oklahoma City

  • Features: sand volleyball court, edible garden, gazebo, playground and neighborhood events.

Military Park – 1200 NW 25th St, Oklahoma City

  • Features: This park reflects the landscape forms of southeast Asia and includes a stage area for community events and places for gathering and reflection.

Rotary Club OKC Community Playground at Rainbow Fleet – 1105 NW 45th St, Oklahoma City

  • The community may access the space from 6 p.m. to dusk Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to dusk on weekends. Adult supervision is required.

Piedmont Area
