Description
Singing in a choir is a great way to learn about music, meet new friends, and improve your voice. Joining in with other singers takes the pressure off one individual voice---so you don’t have to be a soloist in the spotlight. No experience is needed. Missy Attebery, an award-winning conductor, has directed music for both children and adults.
Participants will practice two songs: a patriotic piece, God Bless America, and a pop culture song, Sentimental Journey. Participants will meet for class at the Edmond History Museum, 431 S. Boulevard The final performance will be held at the museum on November 22 at 4:00 pm, as part of the Hollywood-themed 1940s Radio Theater Show Glamour, Glitz & Radio Scripts.
Enrollment is free to veterans or active military members with their immediate family (parents, grandparents and/or grandchildren age 8 and up) or caregivers. Although this class is at no cost, it is valued at $75.00 per person. If you are unable to come, please notify museum staff so that someone else can fill the spot.
