The #SendFlowerstoGreenwood project is both a virtual and physical outpouring of love, light, and life for Greenwood Tulsa and the descendants of the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, organized by the owners of The Wild Mother Creative Studio. From May 10 - June 7, artists can participate in a virtual outpouring by following the hashtag #SendFlowersToGreenwood.

Amature art of any kind—visual, performance, written, etc—is welcomed! Families can create paper lilies, which will be installed in the new Greenwood Rising museum in June. Here is a free tutorial on how to make the paper lily which will be used in the installation. Families can also donate funds to help create large-scale floral installations at three major commemorative ceremonies that will take place this May.
