The town of Rederring is at the mercy of a line of Baronets cursed to die in agony if they do not commit one crime (or more) a day. To add to their stress the town's troupe of professional bridesmaids faces disendowment if the town beauty, Rose, does not marry. But who will marry Rose Maybud? A villainous baronet, an uninhibited sailor or a seemingly innocent farmer?
