Sensory Playdate at the National Cowboy Museum

This event occurs monthly, on the third Tuesday of April, May, June, July, August, September

Description

Features a sensory-friendly playtime at The Cowboy. Take a break from gallery adventuring and enjoy activities designed for all abilities. These free playdates provide opportunities for families and kids to enjoy the Museum in a new and accessible way. Enjoy refreshments for both adults and kids.

Activity schedule:

  • April 18 - Dance with Aspiring Attitudes dance instructors
  • May 16: Create your own “I spy” sensory bag
  • June 20: Dance with Aspiring Attitudes dance instructors
  • July 18: Learn a Western dance from Aspiring Attitudes dance instructors and create your own Sensory Bottles, inspired by art in the Prix de West 2023 exhibition.
  • Aug. 15: Create your own soothing waterfall noisemaker
  • Sept. 19: Dance with Aspiring Attitudes dance instructors
