See galleries of Western art and artifacts. Explore Liichokoshkomo’, an outdoor, multicultural education experience that introduces the American West in an immersive hands-on, minds-on environment.

Students can:

  • Contribute to the Code of the West interactive experience
  •  Visit Native American dwellings and view Western vistas
  • Learn about ancient and contemporary Native American traditions
  • Explore the playground
  • Explore the role of trading posts in the West
  • Learn more about cattle drives and decisions cowboys had to make
  • Try out steer roping
  • Learn about packing a wagon and decide what to take on a journey out West
  • Immerse yourself in Prosperity Junction, our recreated turn-of-the-century frontier town.
  • Take a tour of the galleries
  • 11 a.m. – High school-aged students (space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis)
  • 1 p.m. – Elementary-aged students (space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis)

Activities available while supplies last. Lunch space available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reservations required by March 31. Tickets cannot be refunded after April 1.
