See galleries of Western art and artifacts. Explore Liichokoshkomo’, an outdoor, multicultural education experience that introduces the American West in an immersive hands-on, minds-on environment.
Students can:
- Contribute to the Code of the West interactive experience
- Visit Native American dwellings and view Western vistas
- Learn about ancient and contemporary Native American traditions
- Explore the playground
- Explore the role of trading posts in the West
- Learn more about cattle drives and decisions cowboys had to make
- Try out steer roping
- Learn about packing a wagon and decide what to take on a journey out West
- Immerse yourself in Prosperity Junction, our recreated turn-of-the-century frontier town.
- Take a tour of the galleries
- 11 a.m. – High school-aged students (space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis)
- 1 p.m. – Elementary-aged students (space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis)
Activities available while supplies last. Lunch space available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reservations required by March 31. Tickets cannot be refunded after April 1.
