Featuresย booths fromย archives, libraries and museums from across the state sharing collections, expertise and services.ย The goal is to raise awareness about the resources available to educators, students, genealogists, history buffs and anyone who likes โold stuff.โ
Activities include:
- 1 pm - Family Photos, Personal Papers and Selfies: A Personal Archiving Project taught by J.A. Pryse - Most of us have boxes and boxes of historic family memorabilia, photographs, grade cards, personal identification materials, personal papers, film, video, audio and now SELFIES! We know we need to organize materials but where do we begin? This class offers a basic โhow-toโ to get you started in the right direction.
- 1:30 pm - All Ages History Trivia - Test your knowledge of Oklahoma history and win prizes!
- 2 p.m. - Banjo performance by Lucas Ross of the American Banjo Museum
