Description
Norman, OK - April 1, 2026 - Norman Arts Festival is proud to announce their inaugural event taking place May 16-17, 2026, at Andrews Park. Norman Arts Festival, Inc. (NAF), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization established to expand access to the arts, strengthen community connections, and support artists of all levels. Through the annual festival, NAF aims to cultivate artistic growth and enrich education.
NAF’s vision is to serve as the heart of Norman’s cultural identity, seeking to create a space where the community feels inspired by the power of art and every artist finds a home. The two-day festival is designed to move beyond the traditional gallery experience by inviting the community to create and celebrate alongside the pros. The 2026 festival will feature:
- Curated Performances: Two full days of live music and dance showcasing a dynamic lineup of regional and local talent.
- Artist Showcases: A vibrant marketplace featuring local and regional creators across various mediums.
- Youth Showcases: A dedicated platform for young innovators (Grades K-12) to display and sell their work, with complimentary booth spaces provided by generous community sponsors.
- Hands-on Experiences: Interactive “Art Yard” and stations, including free children's activities to create and leave with their own artwork.
- Student Art Competition: In collaboration with local schools and art programs, this competition is a moment for local students to be seen, celebrated, and maybe even take home a win.
- Local Flavor: A large variety of local favorite food trucks and vendors serving a delicious mix of eats to tempt your taste buds and enjoy.
- Beer & Wine Garden: A relaxed gathering space for adults 21 years of age and over, featuring a selection of local beer and wine — perfect for unwinding and connecting with friends.
