Description
The City of Norman and the Norman Human Rights Commission are joining hands to host an event to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event includes an Interfaith Breakfast at Fenn Hall, McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, followed by a community clean-up. All members of the community are welcome to attend and participate. Due to inclement weather, this event has been postponed to Jan. 27 or 28. Events, venues and times will all remain the same as on Jan.15.
You can sign up as an individual or a group for the community clean-up. The City of Norman will provide all the supplies at no cost. Upon picking up the supplies, the parties will receive instructions on how and where to leave the trash after the clean-up.
Preregister by Jan. 11.
