The Leadership Development pageant aims to provide an opportunity for young ladies to enhance self-confidence, demonstrate stage presence, develop interview skills, and cultivate their communication skills and stage presence. Contestants are all awarded a scholarship from $500 to $1,500, with the opportunity to earn additional scholarship
dollars towards their higher education goals.

The young ladies chosen as Teen Miss and Miss Fiestas De Las Americas will represent the heritage and diversity represented by this cultural festival for a full year.
