Founded in 1902 in Lviv, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine was led by eminent artists such as Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss and Ruggero Leoncavallo. This illustrious orchestra continues its two-century legacy in 2023 joined by pianist Oksana Rapita under the baton of music director, the multiple award-winning Theodore Kuchar—the most recorded conductor of his generation.
