Campers will use their hands, their brains and their hearts as they sweat their way to becoming powerful leaders through a dynamic combination of group construction project, horsemanship and games. Though this camp out doesn’t solely focus on horsemanship, it is an irreplaceable tool with which to teach leadership skills - learning to control a 1000 lb horse silently, using only your clear body language and intent has powerful implications in everyday life. Students become better leaders by learning how to control their space, set rules, boundaries and limitations, and communicate clearly.

We will tackle a group construction project (or a few), where students will use basic power tools to build something for the greater good of all the students and/or animals. These projects teach not only team working skills, hands on life skills, but also instill a sense of gratification that can only come from hard, physical work, that also required creativity and ingenuity.

When the work is done, campers can cool off in the swimming pool, play games and simply hang out by the camp fire. Tents and food are provided. Campers simply need to bring pillows, sleeping bags, swim suits and whatever other camping gear they like.
