Syrian-born, Brooklyn-based genre-bending composer and clarinetist Kinan Azmeh has been touring the globe with great acclaim as a soloist, composer and improviser. Hailed as a “virtuoso” and “intensely soulful” by The New York Times, he will collaborate with the acclaimed Aizuri Quartet—recipient of the 2022 Cleveland Quartet Award by Chamber Music America and String Quartet-in-Residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art—in an eclectic program spanning classical, jazz and Arabic musical languages.
