Description
Features an evening with filmmaker, explorer, advocate and Emmy-nominated TV host and producer Philippe Cousteau. Beginning at 6:15 pm, attendees will learn more about the environment and conservation efforts through an engaging conversation with Cousteau, moderated by the Oklahoma State Director of the Nature Conservancy, Mike Fuhr, whose nature photography will also be revealed in an exhibition prior to the event. Seating will be available for the first 300 attendees.
This event will also be featured as part of Norman's 2nd Friday Art Walk in partnership with the Norman Arts Council. Meet NAC Executive Director, Erinn Gavaghan, at MAINSITE to grab a bite to eat at the Dump Truck before heading out on a guided walk to the Norman Public Library Central. The group will depart the gallery at 5:30 p.m., stroll through Andrews Park to see the In Their Words installation created by Oklahoma artist, MJ Alexander, before heading over to the library for this Spark a Change event.
