The Tortoise and the Hare, 2 p.m.
Adapted by Elin B'Haird
It's time for the 25th Annual Spring Sprint and 4-time champion Harriet Hare (aka Hotfoot) is the odds-on favorite. Also running this year will be Pecky, a tuff Chick who's pretty quick. All the way from France is Rufina, a Parisian Pooch and last is Steady Eddie, a Tortoise and all-around good guy. Join the Fox Commentators Pat & Howie for what's sure to be an exciting race.
The Wind in the Willows, 3 p.m.
Adapted by Terry Veal
Follow the adventures of Mole, Rat, Badger and the one and only Mr. Toad. One spring day, Mole becomes dissatisfied with his underground home and decides to see what adventures await him above his home. He soon meets up with Rat, Badger, and Mr. Toad of Toad Hall. Their adventures continue, concluding in a climactic battle to save Toad Hall from the weasely Weasels.
Performances are weather permitting. Families should park in the North-East parking lot, on the corner of NW 36th and Grand Blvd. Follow the Arrows.
