RIVERSPORT OKC is hosting a free Learn to Row Day on Saturday, June 4 at the Lake Overholser Boathouse. Activities will be offered from 9 a.m. – noon to teach participants the basics of rowing. Sessions begin every half hour. The event is free, but registration is required.

Participants will start on ergs – land rowing machines – to learn the basic motion, then move to Oar Boards to get on the water. Learn to Row Day is open to anyone ages 14 and older. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and socks, and to bring a hat, sunglasses, water bottle and sunscreen.
