The Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors Inc. (OKCMAR) Foundation will host a free homeownership workshop.

Attendees will learn the ins and outs of being a homeowner, from preparing to buy a property to navigating legal matters.

The free workshop will focus on the following topics:

• Purchasing – Learn the steps to become a homeowner, along with the services and programs available to buyers.
• Maintaining – Discover the resources available to help with maintenance and improvements. The session covers insurance, major repairs and enhancements such as storm shelters.
• Planning – Gain clarity on legal matters such as wills, probate and deeds.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the workshop begins at 9 a.m.
