Early Birds is a family-based, early childhood school readiness program for parents with children ages 5 & under. The classes offer information, activities and materials to help parents prepare their young children for school. The 90-minute class is led by a trained professional covering topics like child development, everyday learning opportunities, activities that promote school readiness, purposeful parenting techniques and health and safety.

Sept. 11: Ridgeview ES (10010 Ridgeview Dr)- English, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 15: Linwood ES (3416 NW 17th St)- English, 10:30 a.m. - noon; Spanish, 1:30 - 3 p.m.

Sept. 22: Coolidge ES (5212 S Villa) - Spanish, 10:30 a.m. - noon; English, 1:30 - 3 p.m.
