FREE Community Early Literacy Event with Rainbow Fleet and The CARE Center

Description

Oklahoma children will learn to ROAR at a free community event hosted by Rainbow Fleet Resource and Referral's Early Education Center at 10 a.m., June 10, in partnership with The CARE Center, a child advocacy center dedicated to preventing child abuse through education and treatment for victims.

At the event, “Rex Finds His ROAR,” will be read aloud a book that teaches body safety to kids ages 4 to 8. “Rex Finds His ROAR” is part of The CARE Center’s education program, which has now been shared with more than 50,000 Oklahoma children. The program’s interactive lessons are designed to be taught in a classroom or group setting.
