Description
Choctaw Frontier Days celebrates the Oklahoma Land Run of April 22, 1889. Planned activities at this educational festival, specifically tailored to school children, include historical presentations, re-enactors, cowboy and cavalry encampments, a jailhouse, mock gun fights, old-fashioned games and more.
Enjoy American Indian fancy dancers, traditional cowboy camps and gun fights that depict the lifestyle of the 1800s. A re-enactment of the Oklahoma Land Run will also take place at this event, which is free and open to the public. Food and merchandise vendors will be on site.
