Description
It's an excavation exploration! Take part in a hands-on science program where students can find and examine REAL bones and fossils. Students will learn about animal anatomy and document their findings as they dig, touch and compare real vertebrate and invertebrate fossils, as well as modern bone and fossil bone. The class will also explore different STEM careers, such as paleontology, archaeology and anthropology.
Please Note: Students and parents will be supplied with protective eyewear. Children under 3 do not require a ticket. All other group members must have an event ticket. A parent must accompany their child into the classroom.
Preregister. Choose from two class times: 11 a.m. - noon; 2 - 3 p.m.
