Description
The Children’s Garden will come alive with colorful, larger-than-life displays and vignettes representing popular children's books. Splash around in the Thunder Fountain, ride Mo’s Carousel, get hands-on with crafts and classes, listen to storytime, stretch your imagination with an interactive activity book, and more.
This year’s theme is A is for Art, celebrating art in literature with these four books: The Day the Crayons Quit, Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Dot, and Aaron Slater, Illustrator.
Schedule:
- June 7 - Half Off Day, admission $4
- June 9 - Sensory Night, face painting and sensory activities included members, $10; nonmembers, $12; 5:30-7 p.m.
- June 4, 5, 11 & 12 - Rob Boss's Adventure, meet at the Children's Garden entry archway, free with admission, 3 p.m.

Admission to the festival is free for Gardens’ members. Annual family memberships cost $65.
