MetroFamily Magazine's Kids Fest is the metro area's largest indoor fun event with interactive, educational activities for children of all ages. Thousands of local parents and children are expected to attend this year's event from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10. The event will celebrate MetroFamily’s 20th anniversary.
Kids Fest will be hosted in downtown Oklahoma City in the Cox Convention Center.
Kids Fest features more than 60 booths with hands-on activities. Inflatables by Andy Alligator’s Fun Park, a petting zoo, caricature artist and family activities from Chester's Party Barn, face painting and roaming characters from Forever After Parties are just some of what the public will find. Door prizes will be awarded. Admission is free for children ages 18 and younger; adults are $7. A $1-off admission coupon is available at: http://bit.ly/coupon_18
Entertainment at the event will include a performance by Spaghetti Eddie. Amanda Taylor of KWTV News 9 will serve as the event’s main emcee.
“We're thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary with the community. Kids Fest connects families to local resources and services that make learning fun. It's meant for the whole family and planned with children in mind. Each booth features a hands-on activity, so it's definitely an engaging event," says Sarah Taylor, publisher of MetroFamily. “We're excited to see these community resources come together for one incredible afternoon."
The venue features a lactation area and stroller parking. Infant Crisis Services’ BabyMobile will also be on-site to provide a diaper changing station.
K12.com is this year’s Supporting Sponsor.
