Families can kick off a September Saturday with breakfast, wildlife and prehistoric fun as the Oklahoma City Zoo’s popular Breakfast with the Animals returns with a dinosaur-themed twist.
Held on September 5, 12 and 19, the family-friendly event begins at 8:30 a.m. and gives guests early access to the Zoo before the crowds arrive. This year’s breakfast ties into the Zoo’s larger-than-life Expedition Dinosaur experience, making it an exciting outing for kids who can’t get enough of dinosaurs.
Guests will enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet inside the Love’s Pachyderm Building featuring favorites like eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cinnamon roll bread pudding and coffee. After breakfast, families can get up close during an animal ambassador presentation, hear from Zoo caretakers and even meet a dinosaur before heading out to explore.
Admission also includes access to Expedition Dinosaur, where more than 60 life-sized dinosaurs bring the prehistoric world to life. From towering giants to smaller species hidden along the trail, the immersive exhibit offers plenty of opportunities for photos and hands-on family fun.
Tickets are available now, with pricing at $37 for ZOOfriends members and $58 for nonmembers for adults. Child tickets are $31 for members and $48 for nonmembers. Event admission includes breakfast, Zoo entry, animal experiences and access to Dinosaur Expedition.
