Banana Strawberry Smoothie Pops

Since summer vacation has officially started in our house, I've unofficially declared it the summer of homemade popsicles.

That doesn't mean I'm not going to buy store bought popsicles. I'm not crazy. We can't live without pushups or flavors like cotton candy.

But as I was putting those Blue Bell boxes in my cart yesterday, something told me to also toss in two sets of popsicle molds.

When my son isn't in the mood for Cheerios he asks for a smoothie for breakfast. This morning, I decided to double it and freeze what he didn't drink.  It did not disappoint.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 package vanilla Carnation Instant Breakfast mix

Instructions:

Combine everything in a blender. Pour into pop cycle molds and freeze for 4 hours. If you don't have pop cycle molds you can use small paper Dixie cups and wooden craft sticks.

Enjoy!
