Since 1979, Francis Tuttle Technology Center has met the community’s need for a skilled workforce. As part of Oklahoma’s CareerTech System, Francis Tuttle delivers high-quality, hands-on training for key industries including healthcare, aviation, and manufacturing.

“Our mission is to prepare our customers for success in the workplace and to meet our area’s workforce needs,” says Dr. Michelle Keylon, superintendent and CEO. “We have seen a significant increase in demand for hands-on skills training, so we have expanded capacity in many of our most popular programs and are launching four new programs in August.”

These expansions reflect Francis Tuttle’s ongoing collaboration with business and industry leaders to address critical workforce shortages through specialized training.

“At Francis Tuttle, we truly offer something for everyone,” says Dr. Keylon. “We provide high-quality career training for individuals interested in launching or advancing their careers, a wide range of personal enrichment classes for those pursuing a new skill or hobby, and customized training solutions for businesses and industries seeking to upskill their workforce.”

Recognizing that not everyone can commit to a full-time program, Francis Tuttle offers flexible training options in healthcare and skilled trades, including HVAC and electrician programs. These shorter, more manageable formats deliver the same high-quality, hands-on instruction Francis Tuttle is known for — allowing participants to gain essential skills faster and earn the industry certifications employers expect.

Francis Tuttle is proud to serve learners at every stage. High school students attending a partner school, and home school students within the district who meet requirements, can attend tuition-free. Adult learners pay competitive in-state or out-of-state tuition, and financial aid is available.

“At every turn, we are working to meet the needs of our customers and the community,” says Dr. Keylon. “We know high-quality, accessible programs lead to successful careers, and as a result, can change the trajectory of someone’s life and future generations.”
